You can follow my guide(not really a guide or tutorial) I submit fav.me/da7h7i4 . I also experiment with other renderer and suggest freestyle subrender(under cycles render properties, a non-photorealistic/toon style) I Hope this will help and I believe you can strive further. Godspeed!
