its about a foreigner stumbling in a local village bar that it was in a derelict state. however the two owners who were sisters made her feel like home and their food was actually quite good.
after about a couple of hours the place was filled with customers and the foreigner wondered why would anyone come to this grubby place in the first place.
one of the owners said that the show will begin shortly. from what the foreigner could see, the show was mainly a girl dancing ballet. her hair covered her face but from what the foreigner could see is that the dancer was very ugly, that is why the hair covered her face. later she concluded that the girl must have been wearing a mask, to increase mystery and attract more customers.
after all was finished, the foreigner waited till everyone was gone so that she could speak to the 2 owners again. she told them that she could help for a while, as she knew how to dance. This was right on time, the owners said, because their girls are only employed for a couple of months. then they are let off since the element of mystery will diminish. so a new girl is hired every now and again.
the foreigner accepted this condition, she will only work for a couple of months and then part ways.
one of the owner held a gun at point blank range to her, and the other held an anesthetic shot and a carving knife and said
"ok now for some adjustments"

its a maltese author ANTON GRASSO from the short story collection book "Holm it Tragedji"..(meaning Tragic Dreams). the short story i told u about its called "The Ballerina"

I like it. Beautiful window (I have a thing for windows), I like her pose, almost as if she's dancing, and the fact that we can't see her face, it adds to the mystery of the scene.
