I like to think of this character as some kind of forest animal reaper.

Anywho, this'd be my totally unoriginal last-second entry to this contest:

I wanted to try digital painting in SAI. I really like how smoothly you can blend the colors..

Drawn traditionally with graphite, colored digitally in Paint Tool SAI

Into the forest, hurry, faster
Run for your life to head off disaster
Deeper, faster, go, make haste
There is not any time to waste
Over moss and stone and timber
Keep your body fast and limber
Remember, this is just a game
Where I am the hunter and you are the game
Your breathing is heavy, your throat is sore
But you keep fighting on and I want more
Hurry, look sharp, run ever quicker
Your vision is blurring, your heart starts to flicker
The path is obscured for there is no light
But the gleam in your soul from which I want a bite
Faster, run faster, this hunt is so fun
For how long will you have the strenght to run?
It gets harder to flee for the forest is dense
The air seems to thicken, an atmosphere tense
I am in pursue till your power's depleted
And when it will be then you will be defeated
With terrain getting steeper, slowing your pace
We are getting closer to the last phase
Watch your step there, mind your head
))
