Thanks again!For those who didn't know, this personalty right here is who they call the "greatest tennis player in history", Roger Federer. I was never a fan of him and I always routed for Nadal. And it's funny how I always said that I'd never draw Roger, but I ate my words when commissions come in place, LOL!
I consider this one of my best pieces, I believe I have captured the emotion and the colors just simply go to together.

Haha, a shame you don't like him! Everyone I've talked to who's met him says he's a nice guy, a lot of fans say Rafa's a little standoff-ish. Superb work though, really enjoy the colors and the range. As a major tennis fan, can also say you captured him, to a T.
P.S.
By the way, just to clear you up there; Rafa never won the Golden Slam (that's winning all four slams plus the Olympics). Rafa didn't win the US Open the year he won the Olympics, so neither he nor Roger have that yet. But both players (Roger before Rafa) won the "Career Slam" which encompasses winning all four slams in there career. Roger's done this once and nearly did this four other times, and Rafa's completed this once. However I don't think many are arguing about this like they used to in regards to Rafa, because it's still quite early in Rafa's career but has already taken quite a large toll on his body. I agree with you in terms of numbers and slams, the ladies have it for sure.

thanks man! well, it is a tedious process. definitely sketch first, then apply the background, and then colors and some finishing strokes

when we talk by number of slams won, i believe navratilova should take the crown as she has around 40-50 grandslam titles including singles, doubles and mixed. she even won a grandslam in her 40s, nothing close to what federer nor graff has accomplished lol. although i could say graff is the greatest at singles with 22. but what can you do, the media only recognizes men's achievements.

Graf won the golden Slam, Navratilova did not. On the other hand, Navratilova won a lot more titles than Graf did. She played longer than Graf too, though. And there's also the "what if?" about Seles. So yes it's up for debate

that's why if we're talking numbers then it would definitely be navratilova, like i said she had 40-50 slams and won way more than graff did. nadal and agassi have the golden slam but theyre not the greatest.

I'm speaking as in the Golden Slam. THE. Winning all 4 Slams in one season + the Olympic gold. And maybe I'm doing the same thing with singles/doubles that people are doing with men/women, but I value singles titles a lot more because you don't rely on anyone but yourself to win.

but having to win doubles slams and mixed doubles slams together with singles is even more impressive! also dont forget about multiple tour finals championships! if it were that easy, then federer, nadal and even graff would have done so. my money still goes on Navratilova as the greatest player in history!
