*** This is technically a re-posting of this illustration. I plan to do so with all my Potter art work building up (hopefully) to having some new stuff to share there after. So if you feel like you've seen this before - you probably have. On the upside, I'm sharing it at a larger resolution and without the DeviantArt watermark on it now***

I have the intention of putting each book in a slipcase, and on the cover is a single picture that (I feel) does a good job representing the story arch where it's at. The first was a happy picture of Harry on a broom after having caught the snitch. The second was Dobby bearing through the brush at the Dursley house. And now, Sirius' picture in the paper.

Fun Fact: I originally did a different drawing of Sirius for this image. It was of him just after he "killed" Peter. I actually like it better than this illustration; he looked younger and didn't have the beard and there was a "badassness" about it I dug. But after thinking about it, it seemed more appropriate to do a picture of how he looked and is described within the book itself. Don't get me wrong, I like this painting very much, and think it'll look cool for its purpose.
