this took about 14 hours x_x

first time drawing undyne and papyrus on the tablet; undyne doesn’t QUITE look how i want her to, but she has Muscles so i’ll go ahead and say it’s close enough

i tend to get carried away with backgrounds; this one is courtesy of one of my favorite PS brushes here on DA; i used that for the silhouettes and shaded/added the trunks myself

for poses i used senshistock ’s “sailor staff weapon” 56 & 53 for undyne and papyrus respectively. papyrus gets the girly poses cause he’s the the one wearing a crop top and i think it’s funny. undyne’s gave me a lot of trouble, so i wound up tracing the “stick figure” position of her arms and spine, but the rest is freehand

speaking of poses, sans wasn’t originally gonna be in this picture, as i have plenty of practice drawing him, but there was a weird space between papyrus and undyne so in he went. poses references = great for solo pictures, maybe not ideal for complicated group poses. gonna have to learn to make up my own. :/

i have no idea how light works in the underground and i sure as hell don’t know how skeletons work but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ practice will take me there
