I know it's late in the game, but as I've looked at various interpretations of human Bill, I find myself asking: "is the facial hair something people associate with Bill - or is it (along with the overall head design) a reference (intentional or otherwise) to Mr. Hirsch...?" Either way, I could picture him with or without facial hair, but nice use of coverage for the one-eye element and with the style. It is fitting for the adaptation of his expressions.
