Description
One of the 4 new fossils from Sword and Shield, this fellow is an Electric/Dragon type named Dracozoltthis is the first time the fossils of a region are not part rock type.
There's also 4 different fossils. 2 bottom halves, and 2 top halves. You can revive them in any combination to create the pokemon you want.
There's the Draco fossil for a Dragon butt.
The Arcto Fossil for the Ice butt.
The Vish Fossil for the Fish Head.
and the Zolt fossil for the happy lizard head.

Maybe that's why they are not rock types. They are made from two fossils and their primary types overrides the rock typeΒ

people didn't seem to get the concept so yeah i'll comment it
english scientists used to match wrong fossis due to lack of knowledge like wrong heads going to wrong bodies, putting thumbs as horns, turning bipedal dinosaurs to quadropedals etc.
so gamefreak took this and went ape with it

I really love the idea behind them,
even if I find the design to be meh.
Kinda wished they evolved tough...

I think the people in the pokemon world went a bit far when they thought that fusing 2 fossils into 1 super dinosaur was a good idea resulting in these abominations....i still plan on using Dracozolt on my team but damn this is a legit statement of "has science gone too far"

I really love the Zolt combinations. That happy expression sells me on it alone and can't wait to get it. And tbh I love how disproportionate and strange they look.

These fossils are awful. And not just the fusion gimmick (that could have worked if done right) but even the "parts" on their own.
Look like overly colorful plastic toys. Put them near fossils from previous gens and you'll see the issue right away.

I mean, both fossils don't exactly look right when mixed. Β As cool as this concept is, it still looks like the combinations don't mesh. Β Which makes me think that the four fossils came from four different pokemon. Β I'm guessing the electric part is going to be a compy.

Still, the upside-down head makes me think it wasn't made for it. Β -Vish was clearly made for some other species.
