My contribution to the meme.
I used this [link] as a template.

This isn't entirely one drawing per month. I guess the meme is meant to show us proof that we worked consistently all through the year but I have a job and studies, and sometimes I can't draw for two months in a row and sometimes I produce some of my best work in a matter of days. So instead of arbitrarily using the months (which would have resulted in about 3 blank slots and 2 or 3 slots where only one drawing appears whereas several more good drawings were done that month) I simply showcased all my stuff. Hence the months which do not appear in the picture. But they do, from top to bottom, cover the whole year, L's drawing dating back to January all the way down to Totoro which was done a few days ago.

This year was dominated by digital work. I am not necessarily proud of that.
Sometimes I would turn to digital as a cop out - as it is a lot less unforgiving than traditional. But I mostly exist on Youtube and it's a lot easier for me recording my work when I do it digitally. Not to mention that some of the projects I upload on Youtube have to be coloured, and it's a lot easier to colour digitally. I've never felt that it was MY job to colour. I rarely enjoy colouring. I mostly consider my job done when the drawing is done. I don't like my cartoony colouring style - or lack thereof.

Here's to a year of traditional drawing and no colouring!
