Which emotion is it that binds you
That traps you
That makes you do its bidding
Is it anger, seething beneath your skin, whispering violence into your ear
Or is it sadness, winding its way through your thoughts, weighing down your limbs, casting its shadow over your life
Or maybe you are a creature of joy, trying to share it with those you deem it necessary to have
But then again, you could be a being of indifference, allowing the flow of time and space to carry it were you will, letting nothing show
Or perhaps you are like me, insanity grips you and those you are a child of all emotions, they all claim ties to you and all constantly whisper in your ear, like the mumbling of many a conciseness
No matter how you tear at your skin
No matter how you plead for them to stop
They constantly mutter into your mind
Or maybe that's not emotion at all I hear
Huh, I wonder what it could be
