yeah, finally some finished komplex piece after a long time full of scetches.This is another charakter from my series Shaknai. His name is Dylan Leblanc and I´ve got big plans for him

Ich musste eben ein bisschen lachen und weinen als ich das Bild gesehen habe...zu viele fliegende Inseln dieses Jahr! Obwohl ich sie immernoch faszinierend finde irgendwie. Ja mir gefällt das Bild sehr gut, es ist sehr beruhigend es anzuschauen. Die natürlichen Farbtöne sind schön, nicht zu bunt aber trotzdem noch intensiv. Ja der kleine Wasserlauf ist ein super Detail, der ist klasse! Und den Baum kennen wir ja auch schon! Hier ist die Struktur irgendwie noch besser gelungen als beim ersten, gerade in der Baumkrone finde ich. Die Kugeln oder Lichter sieht man jetzt auch richtig C: Überhaupt sehr schön plastisch und dreidimensional das Ganze, das gefällt mir besonders gut. Na dann bin ich mal gespannt ob der Charakter demnächst noch mehr auftaucht.

Your work often reminds me of fun references in media. I usually try not to just blurt out this because it makes the work about me. I have to say though this is cool to me because of it's resemblance to the illustrations for 70's printing of "The Little Prince" cover art.

That´s ok, I´m always the type of artist that doesn´t like to explain there own art, because the viewer should think of its own story behind it and media are part of the canon everyone rely on. So if my art remember you on something its totally fine with me^^ There ar no so many think left no one has done allready.
I havn´t read "the little Prince" but its on my list for some years now. Hope I get the chance to do that in the near future.
