La Papessa
Colei che sa, ma svela solo in parte il suo sapere. Siede su un trono tra due colonne (la vita e la morte, il bene e il male) identificate anche come le colonne Jakim e Boas del Tempio di Salomone. Tiene tra le mani una pergamena arrotolata, o un libro. Lei non legge, non ha bisogno di leggere perchè ha già la conoscenza, e questo le da modo di tenere alta la testa e fiero lo sguardo verso il futuro. Ai piedi una falce di Luna, simbolo femminile e simbolo religioso (la Madonna) la Papessa rappresenta anche la Grande Madre e la dea Iside, quindi la chiaroveggenza, l'intuizione e la percezione dei mondi sottili.
E’ immobile, silenziosa, calma, impenetrabile, sacerdotessa del mistero di Iside, la dea della notte profonda. Con la mano destra tiene il libro dei segreti che nessuno scoprirà se la Papessa non gli affiderà le chiavi. Sapienza, conoscenza pratica e spirituale. Autorità, benevolenza ma anche dissimulazione, immoralità e ipocrisia.

The High Priestess

The one who that it knows, but reveals its knowledge only partially. It seats on a throne between two columns (the life and the dead, the good and the evil) identified also like the columns Jakim and Boas of the Salomone's Temple. Rolled up parchment holds between the hands one, or a book. It does not read, she does not have need to read because she has already the acquaintance, and this from way to hold high the fierce head and the look towards the future. To the feet a scythe of Moon, feminine symbol and religious symbol (the Madonna) the High Priestess represents also the Great Mother and the goddess Iside, therefore the clairvoyance, the intuition and the perception of the thin worlds.
