Title inspired by the song "Prince of Darkness" by Megadeth xD

Tbh, I was going for a redraw of this art , but I was not feeling it anymore. It was too despairing and I was finding it too troublesome to find a good composition too. I think that one is probably good as it is. So I decided to give it a more dynamic and thrilling twist to it.
I really liked how this came up! I am not going to lie, I spent maybe around 8h on this or maybe a little more so I could plan and detail it to make it look good. The thing about traditional - especially when it comes to shade and color - is that you have to imagine and hope that things will work out XD I was disbelieved this was going to turn out well because I saw a lot of white on the background, and was even more unsure I could crosshatch the hell out of it so it looked better. Buuuuut maybe I should trust my instincts more and trust the process ^^

The crows are my favorite part! I just love them and I am happy with those poses too! I think I've "mastered" skulls too after drawing so many xD I was first sketching very much depend on the references, but then I found myself drawing them by memory. Sure some of them look a bit inaccurate but it was fun anyway. Also, I just found out how beautiful pole poses are for drawing! I was trying to figure out which one would be the best for this drawing.

Note: I didn't notice until I saw this art in a thumbnail, but the shade with giant red moon seems like a creepy eye xD (as the red moon is the pupil and the darker shade is the veins of the eye with rage or something).
