Sarah stood there, motionless; she could barely breathe. Her chest became tight, holding in the gasps of shock and sadness. Thoughts running in her head, of questions that couldn’t be ask, of answers she was not ready to hear. All she could do was stare at the three men who she looked up to as older brothers, the ones who could always comfort her and protect her in her time of need.

Now they were Warriors in monstrous forms.

And it frightened Sarah.

Ratso is the first one to speak, “It’s not so bad Sarah. I mean…we look cool! If you’re into the whole orange look.”

“So buff!” exclaimed Chow. “I mean we’re stronger than before! Look at the cool stuff we can do!” He does a back flip, and few twirls in the air, showing off.

“And our weapons! They are so groovy!” yelled Finn, making his weapon appear before him. “I can cut anything into little pieces if I wanted too!”

“I can smash anything using this hammer!”

“I can make my weapon into two weapons!”

All three boys, while showing off, finally realized Sarah had not said anything or moved at all for that matter. The smiles that were on their faces moments ago began to fade away as they looked at her. She was shaking, with pent up emotions…and fear.

She was afraid…of them.

“Sarah…” began Chow softly.

“Don’t be sad. You look so beautiful when you're happy.” stated Ratso. “I don’t like it when you’re sad, because, that makes us sad as well.”

Tears were starting to form in Sarah’s eyes, but they refused to fall. Finn slowly walked up to her, his heart breaking with every step, knowing she was hurting.

“It's still me…Baby Doll…”

That did it.

Sarah couldn’t take it anymore. The tears were falling down her cheeks, her breathing now becoming sobs. Finn pulled her into a hug so quickly, stroking her hair, while calming her down. Ratso and Chow ran towards them, and joined in the hug, wanting so badly for her to be happy again.

“It’s okay, Sarah.”

“We’re right here. We’re never going to hurt you.”

“Everything’s going to be alright, Baby Doll. You’ll see.”

Sarah kept on crying, into her three brothers’ arms, her sadness not wanting to fade away. The comfort of the boys, could only do so much. Something clicked inside in the minds of all three of the Warriors, pondering the fact, that they had a made a mistake, becoming what they are now. What is was doing to their little sister, and they couldn’t do anything about it. They had learned the hard way.

Power always comes with a price.

They just didn’t know at what cost.

A piece written by my one of my dearest friends here on DA, . We had talked about what the three boys would tell Sarah, how they would react to her shock and pain at their transformation, and then she was inspired, and wrote this little snippet for me.
I'm indebted to her once again for writing something that brought me to tears because of how beautifully it was written!

I hope you all enjoy this written piece, and the picture as well!

EDIT: Just realized that I put Sarah in her original skirt for this piece, when the other piece "It's Still Me Baby Doll" has her in brown pants...how stupid of me. Ah well.
