She rarely cleaned her house due to having no direct push to do so. She couldn't care less about what people thought about her. When it came to her dignity, she has nothing to lose, which people ether love or hate.

History:

Before Lilypad:

Pepper's childhood was one of many complications. She had many step-fathers, half-siblings and was pretty neglected by her mother as she was the oldest. She barely had any relationship with her mother; the most Pepper would get out of her was a patronizing remark. However, she was very close with all of her fathers, especially her biological father. When she was with her real father, he always loved to hang out and never made her do anything. She wasn't all that popular in school, usually being that annoying kid who never had a filter. She had a few close friends, which was enough for her. She even had a girlfriend at one point. She never aspired to be within any specific click or find a specific identity.

Early Life in Lilypad: January-April 2019

  When it came time to move out of her parents place, she decided she wanted to get out of her home town and live somewhere more confined. So she got her train ticket and went down to the town of Lilypad, though it was much more crowded than she thought. Starting off in Lilypad, she had very little. Her bed was nothing more than a pile of pillows and bean bags in front of her TV . All the food she has are cans of soda, bagged chips, and the occasional fast food left-overs. Despite the rough living conditions, she enjoyed living in Lilypad thus far. She had met new people like her fellow skunks Brooklyn and Aroma , Ginn , and Ricky . She would fish regularly, which would act as her only source of income.

Things began to shift in April of 2019 when an alien named Horus moved in. They had a rough start to their friendship, as Pepper would struggle to pull her load and Horus would often lecture her about expenses. Horus wouldn't even address Pepper by her first name and would instead call her Miss Peugh. However, as the month passed and they spent time with one another, they learned to get used to each other and live more comfortably. He worked as a nurse while Pepper continued to fish.

The Storm: May 2019

  The little bit of comfort they had would be tested with the storm that took place in May. During the storm, the two spent the day at a neighbor's house . At that point, the storm wasn't looking great. Unfortunately, Pepper had underestimated the storm and planned to go outside for a smoke, despite Horus trying to talk her out of it . She would soon realized her mistake when on her way home, she fell off her bike and got stuck in a huge body of mud . Most of her body is submerge and she don't have the strength to pull herself out. After Pepper failed to appear during the span of a few hours, their neighbor Sugo decided to go out and look for her while Horus stayed home with his son Toby . Sugo eventually returned with Pepper hanging from his shoulder, coated in mud, freezing, and with debris from the storm tangled in her fur. After letting Pepper wash up, she and Horus stayed the night, allowing the storm to calm down before returning home. Pepper had obviously gotten sick from being out in the cold. The next morning, Horus had to carry her home. Pepper spent the flooding portion of the storm sick and curled up in Horus' bed while he cared for her.

The Introduction to Kyo: June 2019

At the beginning of summer 2019, Pepper met a little girl called Kyo. She regularly give her things to give to the fountain on the weekends. Soon enough, she would begin to follow Pepper around whenever she'd find her. Pepper eventually couldn't resist bringing her home and Kyo began living with her and Horus. Horus didn't quite know how to feel about the strange child living with them, but he had no problem with her being around. Pepper completely fell in love with her and cared for her like a mother. Also around this time, Pepper got into baby-sitting and met Leon and Hash .

Blossoming Romance: July-August 2019

After the events in May, Pepper and Horus became closer and more stable than they ever were. Pepper finally had her own room with a bed as apposed to a pile of pillows on the floor in the living room and Kyo even got her own room.

They began to open up to each other, including Horus opening up about his fear of mosquitoes and what may happen if he's bitten by one. They helped each other improve and feel more comfortable with trying new things. They would start to spend more time by themselves, going on a few dates and even beginning to sleep in the same bed.

Expecting and Engaged: August-October 2019

In Late August, Pepper learned that she was pregnant. Though it was unexpected, she and Horus were happy and committed to be parents. They planned to turn Pepper's old room into a nursery. As expecting parents, Pepper decided it was time to tie the knot. On October 14th, she decided to propose to Horus herself instead of waiting for him to do it. Luckily for her, Horus had the same idea and they ended up proposing to each other on the same night. They planned to get married after their kit was born. Around this time, Pepper met Zix , Ari and Orland .

Billy Strikes: August-November 2019

With a stable, happy home and a baby on the way, it seemed like nothing could wrong. However, Fate had a trick up it's sleeve just for her. One day in August, she was visited by the oldest of her younger siblings, Billy . He claimed that he stole money from his mother, bought at ticket, and ran away from home. It was clear he had no intention of going back. Pepper was furious with him, but had no choice but to let him stay until their father could take him in. He had to sleep in Kyo's room while Kyo had to take the baby's crib, since she was small enough to fit comfortably. Pepper feared having to let Kyo go after the baby's born.

Having her brother living with them was an utter nightmare. Pepper constantly struggled to keep him under control. He didn't get along with Kyo and he had very little respect for Horus. Luckily in November, a few weeks before the baby was due, their father and little sister Birch came to town and took Billy in.

The Baby Shower: November 9th, 2019

After Billy was finally out of the house, Pepper decided she wanted to throw a baby shower. Later on during her pregnancy, she learned that she was having twins and planned on announcing it then. She invited Zix, Ari and Orland, Arin , Elenor and Calamus , Leon, Candie , Sahar , and Hash. During it, Pepper learned that Ari was expecting as well, though her kitten wouldn't be born until February. After announcing the second baby and her gender, they hosted a baby naming contest. This resulted in the girl twin being named Chia, a name suggested by Zix.

Bye-Bye, Kyo: November 11th, 2019

Nearly a week before Pepper was due to give birth, they found Kyo's father Sullivan . He had been looking for Kyo for months before finally finding her . This meant they finally had to say goodbye to Kyo . Though the stress of finding room for her was gone and Pepper was happy that she found her dad, she didn't take letting her go all that well. After 5 months of having kids in the house, Pepper and Horus finally had the house to themselves. They had to savor it, for it would be the last week they'd have for a long time.

Pablo and Chia Sanshiro: November 19th, 2019

In the early morning of November 19th, Pepper went into labor. Being a midwife for her mother before, she was at first confident in giving birth by herself. She hid in the guest room so she wouldn't wake up Horus. She was only able to deliver one twin Chia before realizing she couldn't deliver both and yelled for Horus. She delivered the second twin Pablo at the hospital.

To their curiosity, both twins were born with odd-colored blood. Pablo appeared mostly skunk-like, but had his father's yellow, glowing markings. Chia was entirely triorb, but unlike her father her markings and orbs were black.

A Christmas Carol and Wedding: December 2019

  After the insanity of pregnancy was over, Pepper was excited to finally be able to participate in one of Ari and Orland's productions in their Meadow Heart Playhouse . Their previous production was a delight for her to watch a recording of, but she was unable to audition for a role or even attend due to having her twins. But she was determined to finally get to play a part in one of their plays, even if it was minor. She was able to land one of the major roles as Fan Scrooge in A Christmas Carol . It was a bit ironic to be playing a character that would later die during childbirth, but it was an amazing experience regardless. Horus even began to work at the theater as the pianist .

Along with the play, hosted their wedding on the 25th. It would be the first time she's seen her family is about a year, including her three step-fathers and all five of her step-siblings. Pepper even made sure to directly invite her mother, despite having her own concerns if she showed up. She expected her to be a no-show, but there might have been a glimmer of hope that she was wrong. Unfortunately (or fortunately), her mother failed to appear. Pepper had mixed feelings about this. For one, not having her own mother present for such a big event is heart-breaking. But having her present could have spoiled it, as the two of them have never gotten along. But regardless, she wasn't ready to have her mother ruin the wedding for her, present or not.

Newborn Parenthood: November 2019-January 2020

  During the first few months of their lives, Pablo and Chia proved they weren't going to be a cake-walk compared to other newborns. Pepper and Horus often struggled to keep the twins under control or even on the ground, thanks to their extraterrestrial abilities. Pablo would often make electronics glitch or even burst if he fussed hard enough.

    Unlike most newborns, Pablo and Chia appeared to mature a bit quicker. Chia became incredibly strong, able to climb up dressers, counters, and even out of Horus' pouch. She figured out how to stand and walk around all on her own. Pablo, though not as smart or strong as his twin sister, was babbling long before four months old.
