I'm near-sighted, hence they're almost always on when I'm outdoors. I took them off for this image and a little variety. Kind of like cosplay for old guys; I'm doing one who can see far away without glasses.

Reads as if you don't like your side of the situation and I wholeheartedly agree. It's what I often write of to you ladies in our journal (equality). Thing is, you're going to have to start changing your ways if you ever hope to realize it … or, love what you hate. Not exactly my style.
One thing alone will get you there, if and when you truly perceive and believe it. As society has planned for 'you', you do not need a man to be happy. In fact, their 'plan' insures that you'll often not be until the day you die. Happiness scraps have never appealed to me.
If I were in your position and didn't like the amount of priceless time spent over-prepping for social acceptance, I'd spend less of it. There are plenty of fashionable looks that can be maintained like mine … I don't use a brush, or comb.
Keep thinking about it. It's a good thing.

Is that how I come across; "passionless"? — I assure you it's only because you haven't seen me alone with myself. At least once a week, my bathroom's like '5 Minute Hellfire'.
It's a passion one could expand upon and repeatedly enjoy with a whole and balanced person, while sharing 'true' love with them. Unfortunately, society's greed and insecurities generally mandate handcuffs, too.

My hair only looks like that when it's wet, or when a masterful b&w artist brings out the 'dry hair' highlights, as in this image … kind of a swap-off that doesn't payoff. It also magnifies skin texture. I could've reversed that as easily, but it seemed too unreal.
