Description "Kasir was one of the many priests and clerics sent to the north once the war began there. Perhaps some had pure intentions for spreading the southern pantheon of Ukko to the north, but many, including Kasir, saw this as an opportunity to gain notoriety and wealth. The northerners also believed in the pantheon of Ukko, but Ukko is not the absolute power governing all the other deities, but instead there exists major and minor deities and gods, Ukko being only one of the many of the major gods. When the southern priests arrived they were aghast at the fact that there were no buildings or strict systems dedicated to religion at all. The religious functions that the northerners carried out happened in various places depending on many factors, in fact, religion did not affect the daily lives of northerners as much as it did for the more developed southerners. Kasir especially saw this as being primitive and backwards, barbaric even. His order of the eternal tree saw penance as an important ritual in their religion and he made sure this practice would be observed in the north as well. Another aspect he found troublesome in the northern territories was the fact that the people did not seem to be capable of understanding that priests and clerics held a special position in society. This position forbid them from doing certain kinds of physical labor and also mandated that they be served food when they so required. The northerners would offer a meal as a sign of hospitality, but they'd be more than annoyed when they'd see the same priest coming to them for food for the 5th day in a row, food oftentimes was not plentiful in the north after all, and it was seen as abuse than anything else.

After the war the southerners did not leave as the northerners had expected. Instead many remained to spread their culture throughout this new society. In the coming years slowly religion moved from nature into artificial structures built by the hands of the dragonoids themselves. Instead of listening to the woods and watching the skies, the gods and deities now spoke through priests and clerics and were appeased by donations and sacrifices. Many of the priests who had survived the war and remained in north quickly became rich and influential in their own societies. Eventually the different interpretations of religion would begin to spark wars in the north and initiate the long age of unrest in the north, wherein the northern lands are engulfed in decades of small and large scale wars, but now the wars would not be set against invading humans, but against their own people. Throughout these decades, large northern societies would begin to form. Wherein the centuries and decades of the past, northern societies were small to medium size villages, now large city states would begin to take shape, forming from the need of security in the times of unrest."
