Description " Sometimes when you are hiking on mountains you might hear quite deep and silent snoring. That means you are hiking on top of a mountain dragon. Only one of these dragons has been confirmed to exist by reliable eye witnesses. The one and only sighted mountain dragon was spotted by sailors who were fishing near the coast to be rising out of the dragon tooth channel. It was reported to have made very deep and loud noises and this was when the guards at the fort near the channel spotted the dragon. Message was sent immediately from the fort pleading for reinforcements, but very scarce forces were managed to get to the aid of the residents at the fort. Even a few lea dragons were used for the first time in lethal combat, most of which fled the fight, but the few that stayed served their purpose well, distracting and attacking the mountain dragons weak spots. Knight king Rendal was the warrior who lead the knights and dragons to battle, though he had difficulties leading the dragons since he didn't exactly know how to. Highly reputable holy scribes were called to service in the battle to provide divine support for the knights.

The mayhem that followed was one of the most disastrous that had been caused by dragons. Rendal has been known to have famously said to his scribe mate before the fight "how the hell are you supposed to hurt that thing". The fight ended in the fort being destroyed and most of the knights being killed, Rendal did a "tactical retreat" at the final moments of the battle when it was looking the most grim, he hasn't been heard of or seen ever since. His scribe friend refused to tell where he escaped to, even after some "persuasion". The turning point in the fight occurred when the dragon destroyed the fort beneath its feet, after this it continued its movement inland towards the Iren kingdom. Before it could reach Iren it was stopped by the highest of scribes who were called from the capital city to fend off the mountain dragon before it could cause anymore destruction. The scribes were successful in fending off the dragon, but their methods are kept as a secret for they hold the knowledge of both waking up these dragons and sending them back to sleep.

There is very little info about the mountain dragons and their combat capabilities include mostly spewing molten rock from their mouth and crushing things under their feet. One scribe took note of the glowing orbs on the dragons chest and after inspection through a telescope he determined they are indeed gems, this indicates that these dragons may have been slumbering under the ground for centuries and it is very difficult to say whether these dragons are immortal, in a sense, or very old. no matter what the case is, it is not known where these dragons come from. The few knights who fought at the keep reported that the montain dragons exterior mostly consists of igneous rock types, from which we can determine that these dragons live in volcanically active areas, the cause and effect is unknown in this situation. The only visible weakspot on the dragon are the joints and eyes, where there is barely any protective rock.

As previously stated mountain dragons have been only sighted once, but reports of deep snoring in the mountains have come from all over the world. What distinguishes the dragons snore from regular snoring is the fact that it doesn't really sound like snoring, it resembles more the sound of an earthquake rather than snoring. Most people do not know this and have falsely reported hearing mountain dragons. In most cases when our researcher got to the spot where the snoring was heard he usually would hear nothing, or in some rare cases, find a hobos hut around a rock with a very loudly snoring hobo inside.

These dragons are very resistant against steel and obsidian and other material. The best course of action is to use the powers of scribes to enchant your weapons or directly target the dragon. Though do not ask for the scribes' help when it's graduation day, you might find that enchantment blessing to quickly turn into a curse. Unlike most dragons, mountain dragons don't have wings, it's not very hard to see why they don't need them.

Note1: inferno dragons have been noticed to surround mountain dragons, probably because they use the volcanoes and mountains on the dragons back as nesting grounds

Note2: Oil has been found from the tracks of the mountain dragon, this could partly explain how it melts the rock in its mouth "

A nice practice on several things, like perspective and scale. I know I messed up at a few points in the perspective, but I doubt it's too visible, I hope

glad to hear you like it there were a fair share of difficulties to get the clouds and fog to look right but in the end I think they both serve their purpose
