India ink washes on Fabriano. This was a joke drawing I made for class as a take off from Gigi the cat in 'Kiki's Delivery Service'. I imagined how Gigi would look perched on some blossoms composed as a traditional Japanese print. It's very rough, and an older piece, but I think it's cute, so here it is.helped me write my name in kanji (oh, is it kanji? I don't remember now) but the signiture stamp is utter rubbish, just designs in red watercolor.

Very cute. I like the simpleness and the careful use of black in this painting. I have a sudden urge to watch Spirited Away...
