[Adulthood]
Antares was rasied in the old traditional way as a proper gentleman, meaning he has and will follow a strict set of "code of conduct" on how he should act, speak, treat others and more. His duty is to care for his doe's, his children, to raise and provide them a good life and instill in them the way's he was taught. He was taught to strive for what he wanted within reason, and to go about it the honest way. To respect everyone, regardless or rank or situation is also to be practiced. Sometimes, however, despite it not being his intention it can come off that he feels he is far superior than the rest, and intentionally he would never dare to make one feel that way.
He is generally a warmhearted and kind soul, always generous and sincere in his actions. To his wives and family he is devoted and faithful to them, always being generous in his gifts or what he as a gentleman should give to them without them needing to ask for it. He may be reserved at times, but is exceedingly well mannered and brilliant, always respectful when he speaks or uses his action's as his voice.
His twin sister Betty, a proper Lady raised in the same way as he (though what is proper for a Lady), has molded and shaped the way he views the Lady's and commoner doe's of Glenmore society. He won't take just anyone into his home, comparing them to how traditional of a woman they are to his Sister, seeing how she acts and speaks. Generally doe's who are manipulative, vile, snotty or vain have no place in his home or life. You must be a true Lady to have Antare's take interest in you. The same goes for commoner's, he holds them to the same set of values that his sister employes.
IN SUMMARY; Antares is a gentleman to the core, loving and respecting the does in his life, with deepset values.

- | Lady Bethrys | Lord Antare's beautiful twin sister. Like most twins are, Antare's is very close to his golden colored sister who is as old school as he is, rather as a Lady than a Lord. She is extremely dear to him, and he holds her and her opinions to high regard. He values and respects his twin deeply, always at the ready should someone dare try to defile her name or honor. Betty is what a perfect lady should be in every way, and it has molded his idea's of does over the long years of his life and he no longer accepts just anyone into his life should they not resemble the Lady that Betty is.
- | Lord Virgil | Betty's love, aka the stag who has claimed her into his permanent harem. While he doesn't exactly approve of the stag's seemingly constant state of open moping, he grudgingly respects him because of his sister. He would never disrespect him, openly or even privately as that is NOT how a gentleman does it. He could also care less about the color of the Lord's coat, and has vowed to try and have some form of relationship for his sister.
- | Lady Perdita [NPC] | Ah, the ever lovely Perdita. Lord Antares took her into his home, his family and into his life without a single glance, despite the horrific scars that marred and ruined her body, such as the drastic loss of much of her tail and the missing sight in her left eye. If there is any way to get under Antare's skin and make him act rather un-gentlemanly, to make fun of or harass Perdita is the way to do it. He has given her all of his affection and kindness, but because of her injuries but has seen past them to who she really is; a young, proper Lady with a good heart and soul. She is now part of his permanent harem, his door always open for the sweet golden doe.
- | Rowena [NPC] | Rowena is his glade's older herbalist, a year older than him. She's had a few children in her years, and despite not actively looking to have another, Antare's has taken her into his permanent harem after her serving his home wonderfully for years. She is not as high in regards as Perdita is, but he does not treat the older doe any differently. Here he has provided her a home for the rest of her days in retirement. She's become a family friend, with a bit of love thrown into the mix.
- | Lady Corvina [NPC] | His raven doe. Corvina is... a difficult one. He cherishes her and loves the dark doe, but her personality at times can be repulsive to say the least. He understands it comes from an upbringing in a house where her parent's thought nothing of her and openly complained about their dark daughter, but wishes Cor wouldn't be so open with her attitude. He hopes to help the doe to become a more proper lady someday. Still, at times the two of them have shared a quiet soft moment or two. He gets the feeling that Cor isn't very attatched to him, something that hurts slightly, but is willing to continue to give her affection and a home for her lifetime.
[Adulthood]
With a firey red coat, Antare's is a sight to behold despite not being the "traditionally" desired dark coloration of Glenmorian Lords. He is tall, with a medium-heavy built frame carried by sturdy feathered legs. His face is slightly and gently curved around the bridge of his nose, causing the hair to "tuft" ever so slightly, and has a silky waved beard upon his chin. Antare's eyes are a warm hazel, making them a prominent feature that helps him to stand out. His neck is thick, mostly covered in a dense, silky ruff of immense hair that travels down his chest towards his belly and ends just before his jewels. His fur is sleek and soft, tufting ever so lightly around his elbows and rump before it slims and unfurls into soft feathering around his hooves. Antare's red mane is always free flowing in dense but soft waves, with a few braids woven in here and there. His tail is a semi lion's, though you could never guess with how voluminous it was. The stag tends to hold himself up high, and walks with a dignified grace of someone who is in no rush and wants to marvel at the sights around him.

[Fawnhood]
Antare's was born to Lord Cadfael and Lady Diana with his golden twin sister in mid spring. The birth was surprisingly easy given that it was a twinning, but thankfully all three made it through safe and without consequences. His general fawnhood was rather uneventful, spending much time with his sibling and parents as well as the gladestaff until his mother leaves for another stag. Despite the love for his mother, Antare's knows his place is with his father and thus stays. He begins training here and there with butlers or guards, learning up upon his studies so he may emmulate the stag he wants to be in the future and not be some useless Lord. His first Rut came and went, Lord Antare's not participating of his own will, finding himself unworthy and ill-equipped to join in the season. He was not perpared in his own mind, and would wait another two seasons before parcitipating in Rut when he was 7. By then, he had a sizable glade as well as a few staff should anyone catch his eye or ask to share a night with him. He took a few does in, none that he bred with, for saftey from Rut without question as was his nature. He continued to make a name for himself, studying and improving his home. It was really only by the time he was 10 did Antare's actively start participating in Rut to fight for does, and sire offspring. It was around this time that he took Lady Perdita, a golden but scarred royal doe into his permanent harem. She was scared, at first, but quickly seeing his intentions were true the doe became a loyal, loving member of his new family. They have not yet had a fawn, but are in the hopes someday to bring about a child from their union. Not long after, he takes in his glade herbalist into his harem. He has no plans given her age to offer her children, but should she ask he would gladly give her a child. His life has been rather uneventful, as you can tell up until this point. Yet, he has made an amazing name for himself, created a large beautiful home, and has an excellent reputation among Glenmore's society. He does not see himself getting a Princess, not that it ever bothers him, but should it happen he would consider himself blessed and do his best to give her the life she deserved. He plans to continue to better his life and for that of his family and his home among other things. Future Plans: - Possibly see about getting him a Princess? - Work on past rp's to get'dem stats up! - Welcome more proper Ladie's into his harem, and have a large family - Make some man friends.

Haha I love my red boy. I needed a red giant in my life and here he is. He hopes those who join his family don't just see him as a pretty face, but that his morals and such are good and they agree.

Antares will fight for his does/ a doe who's approached him, but he won't fight for a doe with a bad /wrong personality. He doesn't actively go searching for a battle, as in he sees a pretty doe and wants her cause if she ends up coming home and she's a nastily little thing she'll be booted before the days done! If a doe approached him and asked him to fight for her, he certainly would to prove his worth. He just isn't the kind of Stag who will fight for just any doe to make babies :3 he does it the gentleman way XD

Ah, I meant that she is traditional - she is a doe open to being won by the strongest challenger - even if she is already a harem member. As GM law dictates, all does can be challenged for at any one time, except Princesses. She firmly believes in that

I'm a bit different, because GM forces me to be with my traditional characters haha (Riddick, as Crown Prince, can't really afford to be seen to be non traditional - even though all of his longstanding does are considered both family members and treasured friends, he'd be seen as a coward and a sore loser by everyone else if he did not allow open challenges or the does he loses to leave without his permission) :'D But I respect your outlook nonetheless!

Yeah, Antares tries to balance out Tradition with his more Gentleman rules and code of conduct. [But often his softer side wins]
Most does who end up in his permanent famalam harem are does who are undesirable such as maimed, injured,
to dark and ugly, or does who legit have fallen head over heels with him and dont want to leave xD
So he'll take incredible offense if someone came to him and said "fight me for blah blah" because their his wives
pretty much xD And then he still may go after the stag to protect his ladies honor. But unless they told him
" I wanna leave, i need more than you and that stag is man candy" he's under the impression they still want to remain in his home
and will continue to dote upon them and provide them with what they need.
He's MUCH more traditional on the regular harem members, despite allowing them to stay as long as they want
if they go unchallenged for. He's happy to fight for them, or fight to gain a few here and there. xD
But his permanent members usually end up as kin, mostly due to the fact that theyve told him that they wanna stay,
and dont want anyone to fight for them because Antares is what they want. Or otherwise GM considers them not worth anything,
like Antares' Perdita [who's badly maimed and totally undesirable in appearence] so they don't have anyone who actually WANTS to challenge for them rofl xD

I'll try to word it in a way both you and I understand XD
Permanent members are family, not just does who can't be fought for. They've made the choice to stay and won't leave, unless they ask Antares in which he'll voluntarily let them go if that's what they wish. He won't accept open challenges for them, because they are now his kin, but if they wanted him to duel in their honor he would. However if a permanent member did leave by their choice and Antares still wanted them apart of his family he would fight hard for them, to prove his worth and try to get them back.
Harem does are more of the "challenge me for them" deal, more like the regular GM society standard. They can stay as long as they want too, but he'll accept and fight openly for them if someone challenged him. They can come for protection, babies, stay as long as they want but every Rut they'll be open for any interest from other stags.
If that makes sense? Antares takes a different view on permanent; as in they've married into his family, and only by their voiced will can they leave, and THEN be fought for. So if a doe in the famalam left voluntarily cause either she thought Antares was getting soft or wanted to leave for potential new daddies for baby making and another boy showed interest, Antares would go after them. If he won them back they'd be put into the regular harem status to be fought for every year, since they've made it known they WANT fought for and no longer want to be permanent fam.
But he won't take claims for his fam if they don't want to go anywhere. Regular harem does don't really get that choice and are open for all fight.
