Description
This is actually the first of my Christmas drawings. It was coloured with pencil crayons, not markers like the others so it's a little messy but I'm still pleased with the composition. I'm unfamiliar with Pokemon beyond the basic concepts so researching this one was fun. I knew going in that it wouldn't do to try to emulate the original manga style so I went for a more realistic aesthetic, starting with the real world inspiration (i.e: honey badger for Typhlosion, doberman for Houndoom, etc) and worked from there.
