It's funny how this film ripped off Indiana Jones, when Indy basically ripped off the original Uncle Scrooge comics.

I heard that Disney wanted it to be the start of a DuckTales film series, similar to Indiana Jones, which seems obvious cause the subtitle "Treasure of the Lost Lamp" sounds a lot like an Indiana Jones title.
Of course this movie didn't do too well in theaters, so Disney scrapped that idea.
