Max: 'Hey Sam... how comes that we got drawn by a german dweeb?'
Sam: 'I don't know Max.... Maybe our creator we call god -but is just our regular cartoonist- has forgotten that there comes a time where his art and characters get exposed to the world and in the future there will be a social phenomenon created by the american military to spy on others and to communicate. This form of entertainment of past war orientated technology turned people on his work and so even humen around this blue ball floating in the endless darkness of space can recreate us and can show us to other dweebs looking into that box of chips and data.'
Max: 'Oh! You mean there is even a mature themed version of us both there?'

One of the things I always liked about Sam and Max is the ability to get away with a lot of things regardless of medium. The Fox animated series had a lot of great subtle humor that I didn't really know about as a kid, but get now.

The dialogue that you wrote is so spot on with the characters. I know that Steve has posted a page of a new Sam and Max comic on his blog, but I guess that's on the back burner since his job at Pixar is really making him busy from going back to the freelance police. Same could be said for Telltale games being busy with the Walking dead. You gotta show this to Steve, you've really done justice on the freelance police here.Β

Sam: "Why take the time out of their busy schedule of watching flash animations and consuming snacks laden with saturated fats and sugar? Sure beats the heck out of me, little buddy! But it's nothing to worry about. Their trivial complaints and gripes are naught but grains of sand on an incredibly trashy beach littered with cat videos and sexually explicit fictional versions of the cast of Divergent."
