Day one of Folktale Week! I'm revisiting some illustration characters I did a few years ago, in one of my older pieces entitled 'Sleep'. I always wanted to do a whole set about how they met and gtew up together through nature so this seemed like a good excuse.

Day one of the week theme is Birth - and this is their first meeting

Also I forgot how annoying it was to scan in watercolors and allign them ehhhh all the same it's been fun painting away from the computer again!
