I often draw angels in different ways; they represent so much to so many people, but they represent so much about man as well. I'm not religious but I do have a curiosity towards angels, not as beings of protection per say, but as animals - beasts. Not unlike a werewolf to me. I wonder how they would respond, or try to fathom, mankind? After all, man is supposed to be too intelligent for their own good - angels, i think, would be like animals, or children, and suffer for it.

One of my novels is entitled 'Canary Factory' and this is how this image started: an angel (my oc) is literally torn apart by man and their ways (the demon, my other oc).

This is all done with goache and ink.
