Description Prince's Return

The princess glanced out the palace window, having heard the pounding of hooves a mile off. Her eyes sought a being over the horizon. She waited, and having figured out whom the figure was, she paled. Princess Johanna saw Prince Jacob, riding swiftly to her abode. The brunette maiden sat on her window sill, thinking upon the matter.

It'd been months since anyone had seen or heard from the prince. Now, he's returned? 'Tis said that the man riding, was dead. Clearly not so, Johanna was puzzled. What was he doing, riding to her chambers? In a half an hour, he stood at her window atop his steed.

"Milady, do thou not enjoyth my company? Do come down, fair maiden; take my hand. Cometh with I and ride upon my noble steed; run away with me!"

Princess Johanna gazed below at the hopeless man, shaking her head woefully. A fool he was indeed.

"Thou art an ass, Jacob! Never will I sit upon thine steed! Never would I run away with thee! Begone!"

A frown was expressed by Jacob, and he rode off.
