Description The Life of a Princess

You must be perfect.
This is what Mother always
says brushing my hair.

Hold your head up high.
Just put on your fake smile
to keep the tears down.

Through out the party
you sit with a cup of tea
trying not to cry.

Mother is so wrong.
I don't always have to be
Little Miss Perfect.

Stand up straight and tall.
That's what Mummy will say when
she smooths out my dress.

Dance the night away.
It will at least take your mind
off you blinding tears.

I'm tired of this
misery. This torture needs
to come to an end.

Ball after Ball I
try not to cry. I succeed
but wishing I failed.

I hate these pink gowns.
The high heels I do detest.
I despise it all!

I wish to roam free.
I want to wear PANTS and go
play games with the boys.

Not sit in this room
and be forced to converse with
other princesses

I don't want this life.
It holds me prisoner with
Mother as the guard.

I'll never break free.
I'm captured and that's final.
I'm Princess Perfect.
