Description
TheoryShe had a theory, a horrid one at that.
The man in bed, he won't get to see dawn's light.
By the hour, his breath shall become shallow.
His family knew that time was running short.
But they never knew it'd go by this fast.
He wrote a note to his family,
For he knew God was calling him.
Ten hours after dawn, his family found him.
As tears shed, his granddaughter discovered his note.
It was addressed to her, nobody else.
His letter said to go and runaway.
To leave for any place then their home.
He'd seen her scars and heard the abuse.
She needed to leave, they both knew that.
So by the stroke of twelve, she left the house.
Hopefully, she'd find a better place to live
