This looks awesome! It would be awesome if you could do a wolf eye tutorial with GIMP xD As I only have GIMP 2 owo

May I advise you Krita? That's a little better than Gimp and it's totally open source (yes, it means free). Have a nice day, and good luck!

Oh, I got Krita a couple of weeks ago. XD I wanted to start animating and saw that Krita had animating frames, but then when I got it, I found out that you need to get another download for it so I'm, now, just using Krita for drawing Humans. XD

Thank you for the advice, though, and that awesome llama badge!

Attempting to use this as we speak...your work is absolutely astoundingly beautiful...but you can't expect people to be able to do something like this.
I don't even understand how a human can do something this realistic.
I'm pretty much on the verge of tears right now from frustration. The eye I'm doing doesn't look nearly as clear, shiny, and beautiful as yours. I'm not even caring about the fur, just the shininess and realism and stuff.
I shouldn't have to spend almost 2 hours on an eyeball...

Either way, every piece of your work amazes me, and this tutorial brought me a lot farther on this drawing than if I didn't have it.

Ahh thank you for this!

Lately my wolves have been looking a little to much on the 'anime' side of things when it comes to their eyes. Next to the limbs, realistic eyes have been my biggest foe. -3- so this helps alot!

TheMysticWolf In reply to TheRockyCrowe [2015-02-15 13:46:37 +0000 UTC]

you're welcome, well.. many wolves are drawed in a *anime style* I think its better to draw wolves in a realistic style, semi-realism, I am working with a new tutorial right now ^^

Hi there! Thanks for the tutorial! I used it as a reference for the shape of the eye.
I'm not sure if you want the link to my picture but here it is [Link] . And thanks! It really helped to brake down the eye and the fur surrounding it!

TheMysticWolf In reply to Pauliscribble [2013-04-14 08:44:03 +0000 UTC]

hm.. it not called airbrush, but when you chose the simple brush when you draw in adobe, you can change it to a blur brush.
