The shading and style looks really accurate to the source, the fact this was hand-draw really adds to its impressiveness. Honestly, good job on this.

No worries, being in an GCSE art class I know how it feels to be criticized and complemented on there work.
However, again there is nothing really to criticizes. That doesn't mean its perfect, its just I can tell you were aiming to recreate miyuki, and did it as close as I think you could get.
I could say a line or two is off, but that is just stretching it. Overall good job.

Well of course it's not perfect. This is recreating by just looking at it.
But as you said, I try to recreate them as accurately as possible. Some may think it's boring to just recreate others works. But it is certainly good training. When I think of how much I have improved over the years, especially in terms of create drawings on my own, it's definitely a good thing. I've learned a lot from doing that and now I'm creating original drawings more often. And that in turn gives me motivation. ^^

Miyuki Takara is my anime doppelgänger. There is scarcely a moment in the show where she appears and I do not think "that is/ was me".
