I’m doing 3 self portraits for my figure drawing class and I had to do one on black paper with a white conte crayon. My professor also specified that we do not use photos of ourselves.

So, for two and a half hours I sat on a bathroom sink in front of a wall mirror, with a ring light mirror propped beside me, in a mostly dark bathroom.

This was not easy and my lower half got very numb, so even though my proportions are not all accurate, I’m very happy with the result.
