Fun fact: this episode is the one that gave the fanfiction its name!
In Episode 25, Ben, Gwen, AND Courtney get yeeted into the future by Gwendolyn and meet Ben 10K, but don’t get to meet Future Courtney. They later find out the reason behind this is because Courtney supposedly “left them” when they were in their teen years. Obviously outraged by this, Ben and Courtney confront 10K on it, but he hates talking about it and seems especially distressed that Courtney from the past is here. Still, by the end of the episode, 10K learns how much it hurts to suppress and reminds himself that their friendship is forever. It’s not actually revealed in the episode what happened, but I think you early “10,000 Years, 1 Friendship” fans already know...(No spoilers tho)
