I daresay he's my favorite as well...but then again, perhaps I'm biased because I have similar curly brown hair and plan to cosplay the Doctor at some point this year!

I definitely will! I'm getting closer to having a complete costume, although I may have to sew my own coat.   It's a bit of daunting task (not to mention the cost of materials), but I'll eventually have a stab it anyway.

Well, if you're willing to order yarn online, doctorwhoscarf.com has a whole list of options of the most color-accurate ones.

Even if you end up buying yarn in a store (like I did), the knitting patterns on this site are very helpful -- it just takes a while to complete because the scarf is so long.

Last christmas i knitted a 12 foot scarf for a boy in my youth group and it only took me about 4 months

The Doctor Who scarf I knit took me about 2 1/2 months to finish, but I was working on it during just about every spare moment I had. I recall my fingers were a bit sore from working the needles for so long!
