There was a time where I didn't like really Twilight Sparkle, but you have to understand that back then I was an idiot when it comes to these kind of things, how could I not like this beautiful librarian?! Twilight is such a lovely looking mare with a cute personality that comes with her. She's one of my favourite characters now!

As a result of being obbessed with Twi, I wanted to draw her again in my style I'm developing. Like my previous drawing of Rainbow Dash, I gave her realistic feathered wings, horse like legs, and a scruffier mane and tail (although unlike Dash, Twilight looks fine with her show style mane like this, but I'm not gonna pass up drawing a scruffy mane and tail Twilight!). I also gave her a tailbow, why? Because tailbows are cute and awesome and they fit a lot of the G4 characters so well!

So with this being my second picture in a new style, I wanted to improve the drawing of Rainbow Dash, but how did I do? Well:

- For starters, I think the legs look a bit better. It's hard to tell though considering in this picture Twilight is laying down, they're not perfect though, but they're a slight improvment.

- The muzzle looks a bit better as well. This one feels like it's coming from Twi's face more, but I'm still working on changing it.

- The shading is good, but this one looks a bit messier due to the nature of the new pencils I've used. It looks good, but a bit unusual compared to my other traditional drawings. I have a different set of pencils where it comes much neater, but they're terrible quality and break far too easily when sharpened. These ones I've used here are much better quality and more comfortable to use.

-The ear and horn are mostly the same as the new style that'll feature for the 2017 movie (although the ear here is closer to a realistic style). They both look fine, but the new unicorn horns are trickier to draw.

-Finally, I've gotten new lineart pens and they're absoultely fantastic! They're easy and comfortable to use, although it still looks a bit shakey, but it's more down to my dyspraxia then being careless.

So overall, this is a slight improvment over the picture of Rainbow Dash, and it still looks great! I'm really enjoying doing these, and if you'd like to see any particular canon MLP character, then feel free to make a suggestion
