Description
In case any of you have seen "Phantom of the Opera", that is where this came from. This is Erik standing on the roof, watching the world grow dark. I have a fondness for him and I tried to imagin what he must be feeling. If you are wondering how long this took, about two hours, during my play rehersal.

"I stood, watching the sun sink below the earth, as if being swollowed by Hades. The cold and bitter wind bit at my face after I removed my mask. These were the moments that I could allow feeling physicaly re-enter my life. The wind rushed across my skin and into my nose, eyes, ears and mouth. It was cold tasting, bringing tears to my eyes. It was a sad feeling of freezing relief as the sun went down with me."
