Ariel, the teenage rebel edition! i wanted to explore the idea of the disney characters, (starting with the disney princesses) as young adults today, taking into account things like their personality and characteristics, in this case ariel has what in the real world would be a dyed hair colour, she disobeys her father, never does what she's suppose to, runs away from home and chases what she (in theory) can't have! can anyone say rebel? so i drew her with tattoos, peircings, a dreadlock, smoky, moody makeup and partially shave hair
what do you think?? im thinking of doing bell from beauty and the best next, any ideas? I'm thinking hipster or total nerd!

This is a really clever idea. I think you've caught Ariel's personality well.
Belle would be a total nerd, not a hipster, I think. She's not interested in what other people think of her or in trying to be "cool", she's a quiet dreamer.
