I love the color reflecting on the drapery I'm practicing with the concept using other colors for shadow/highlight instead of black/gray or white

The lack of balance give some anti establishment air to this piece. I also like what you can do with a limited palette of colors. Beautiful!

though, as ms rich keeps saying, you should have more of a value scale in terms of lights and darks. also, your edges could be crisper, esp. the apples and the pomegranate, although I know w/ pastel it can be difficult. how big is the piece?

ah, cool stuff. Neh, if you didn't put fixate on it yet, try tightening up the "edges" by smudging them. Like, the speckled white areas that the pastel didn't touch, and/or add a bit more pastel to those areas and smudging them. Just to tighten up the piece and make it look even better.
