After having drifted away from it for several months, last night I finally returned to reading The Silmarillion. As you can tell, I got to the part where Feanor battles Gothmog, lord of all Balrogs....definitely want to rewatch and reread Lord of the Rings now, as well as make more Tolkien artwork. I wouldn't necessarily call this one a masterpiece, but revisiting the fantastical world of Middle Earth inspired me to want to make fanart of Tolkien's legendarium again.Feanor and Gothmog belong to J.R.R. Tolkien
