Thanks for the four years of pure awsome Doug!
Incase some of you didn't hear, yes doug walker has officially announced that he is done with the nostalgia critic! Fear not though, for he said that he and his brother have bought a studio and they will be working on a new series called "Demo Reel". I for one am really excited and glad to hear that doug and rob will be working on new things! Though as excited as I am, I have to admit i will miss the Notalgia Critic greatly!
So thank you Doug! Thank you Rob! Thank you nostalgia critic! And thank you everyone on team TGWTG! It has been an amazing four years! And I look forward to all your new stuff! And here's to all the years to come!
And before anyone asks, that is me sitting in the TV, wearing NC's clothes, Idk why, I guess it just seemed like a cool idea. And sry if the face looks weird, I nvr rly drew a head at that angle b4. N I drew everything cept NC n the static in the TV of course! lol! All rights to owners, yadda yadda!

Out of curiosity, what did you think of Demo Reel.

I personally really liked it. Not sure if I like it as much as Nostalgia Critic, but it's only been one episode so far. But from what I've seen it looked funny and I think I'm going to just love this series! What did you think?

It was ok.
It made me laugh like three times in total and a lot of Doug's writing flaws were prominent, such as him refusing to let a joke die when it needs to. But like you said, it's the first episode and the fact that they are postponing the next one suggest to me that Doug himself sees the flaws. I love the premise. I know it's a cliche, being a collection of satire and all, and to be honest I have seen better satire (one done with action figures that I would highly recommend)but I'm remaining optimistic...Even if my watching it results in nothing more than background noise. ^_^

As soon as I heard that he was retiring the character let me tell ya, I was completely broken down. I guess we'll never see any more reviews from him.

Yeah the guy was the main thing I liked on the the site. To me he was the best at making points and having humor on his videos. His ideas and jokes weren't that dry and he influenced me and helped me in making movies. The other guys like Linkara and Cinema Snob were great. I hope they respond to my comment here and Linkara respond to my note that I sent him. I doubt that will happened... -_-
