Another one of my "themed" lightsabers, this one based on the incendiary grenades from Halo 3Related content

If you used Lava Crystals as the focusing crystals, you would even be able to throw molten lava at your enemy, at the cost of maybe melting your hand off, which is not really worth it I guess...

well you couldn't really fire molten lava, where would the rock come from?

It would come from the Lava Crystal melting, I read it in a great article somewhere, I MUST FINE IT AGAIN! When I do I will post it to you...and it really isn't firing so much as letting it build on the end and flinging it toward something, other than yourself obviously...

its seams like it would just be a normal lightsaber with a crystal that generates a molten blade, a crystal you could put in anyone of my sabers

Wait, I could? As I understood it, each saber was designed around each individual crystal and would not work if said crystal was removed. Did I misunderstand that? Can any crystal be used in any saber as long as it fits?

essentially yes. In fact if it doesn't fit then you just have to rework the internal mechanisms a bit. At the end of the day lightsabers are just machines after all

Oooh, you really are a Master, NO, a Grand Master. I always figured changing the crystal, even if it was possible, would require so much refocusing that you may as well make a new saber. I have much to learn yet...

plus lightsabers are incredible hard to use in combat
