Okay I stumbled on an AMV for Wolfs Rain and have been watching, I am now  completely hooked but I cannot escape seeing the incredible "coincidences" that are the numerous similarities between it and the (dare I call them books?)Twilight series.

First of all, the character similarities.

Kiba. A black haired loner who pretty much leads the pack. He is quiet and doesn't say much. He will do anything to keep the others safe from harm. Does this sound familiar? it should. Sam is an almost complete match.

Tsume. Constantly at odds with the pack leader(lol Jacob much?). He can be reckless but he cares for the rest of the pack. He is kind to Toboe, even if he doesnt publicly say it. Jacob and seth are an example of this relationship and the similarities.

Toboe:  Younger than the other wolves, he is more like a puppy than a wolf and can be accidentally dangerous when playing. Hes sensitive but can be aggressive if backed into a corner. He is attached to Tsume. Sound like Seth?

Hige: now, this is a tougher. Both quill and Emrey can fit this one. Friendly towards the rest of the pack, he loves food, and can be a bit of a flirt. He met Kiba and has been travelling with the group.

Now onto the good stuff.

The similarities between Meyers wolves and Wolfs Rain is astonishing. Despite what she says about not stealing anything and coming up with it herself, I am tending to believe that that is complete and utter bullshit.  Wolfs Rain wolves are all different colours. Surprise surprise Meyers are too!

Wolfs Rain wolves can speak to each other using thoughts. Wow! another amazing similarity!

WR wolves are often in the form of humans and are being hunted. Twilight wolves...People, Seriously? BS.

You may say that Meyers didn't have all male wolf packs and that she added Leah in. Wolfs rain had both Cole and someone else who I won't spoil.

Wolfs Rain came out about 3-4 years BEFORE Meyers wrote New Moon, this tends to make me suspicious about her story(bullshit).
I find it completely disappointing when a writer who writes books with Fucking sparkling vampires needs to steal and corupt shit from a very good anime series.
The Bitch can't help but steal a rather successful anime story/characters and make a mockery of them like this.

I'm not sure what else to say about this other than.
