They have a name for this thing, it's called "the death of author." It's sounds grim but um...I'll let this guy explain it better, using Derpy from FIM. It is weird that we sometimes take more away from things than what was intended. But I suppose it could be worse...people could find your guro stuff sexy (shudders).
