Description
The two cloaked figures had gotten quite a head start with their dirty tactics. My eyes and lungs were still burning from the dust she had blown in my face. Levi was still shaking his head and wiping at his eyes.
"Come on, hurry up!" I called back to him before bolting after our foes. They headed toward some old warehouse, all the windows had been boarded up. There was no moon out, they expected to lose us in the pitch darkness. I caught a glimpse of one pulling down some sort of goggle before entering. I frowned. "Nice try, but I have night vision too bitch."  I said mostly to myself.
My night vision wasn't perfect, but I could see in total darkness about as well as a normal person could in a dimly lit room. I could make out shapes and shades and get around just fine.
I ran inside without hesitation quickly picking up on their foot falls. I was getting closer and I was going over plans in my head as to what to do with them when I caught them. As  if summoning demons wasn't douchey enough they had had the never to play dirty. Just a few more yards...
"Dani!" Levi's voice cried out stopping me in my tracks.
I turned to find him not very far from the entrance, standing still with his arms outstretched. I couldn't see any danger and the magic users were getting away.
"What's wrong?" I called back not yet ready to back track.
He said something that I couldn't quite make out his voice was too quiet and shaking too much.
"What?"  I asked finally heading back toward him. Something wasn't right, he was looking around to frantically. "What's going on? Why'd you stop?"
"I can't see..." He looked around again. "Dani... I can't see!"
