Recently, I've gained interest in the Carbonado, which is said to be the toughest form of diamond. With that, I am looking forward to drawing a Steven Universe OC based on that "black diamond." For the size, I am thinking of making Carbonado a little taller than Pink Diamond, but smaller than Yellow, Blue, and White to better demonstrate "his" own strength-to-size ratio.

For his powers, based on the real-life gem's immense combination of toughness and hardness, I would like to consider him/her a "perfect warrior," similar to Bort from the anime Land of the Lustrous, or potentially on the same level as the Grand Minister from the Dragon Ball series (nigh-absolute condition). At the same time, to prevent making him "overpowered," an object like a finger ring would significantly limit his powers, rendering them untapped. Special abilities like magic, energy absorption, pulse attacks, and spiritual powers might represent the characteristics of the rock accurately. And let's not forget about the aura of festivity. On a typical day, the Gem powers and abilities should be far above standard, but the royal Gemsona's real power and conditions would be considered unknown to the public, including the Diamonds. Furthermore, his Gem weapon would be some kind of sacrificial dagger that can grow into a sword.

His personally would be boisterous and festive, while generally polite and carefree towards other Gems.

For the appearance, since real-life Carbonado originated from space, Africa, and Brazil, I tried to draw his outfit "cosmic and modern" and at the same time, echoing outfits of an African deity and a dancer from a Rio Carnival. If he's sized as a human, height is on par with that of Ganondorf, whereas build is similar to those of Jiren (DBS) and All-Might (BNHA).

PS: I considered making him female, but I wanted to break norms.
