I don't know if you know who Laurell K. Hamilton is, but I read her book Caress of Twilight, and a woman dies by asphyxiation, which just so happens to be the name of this lipstick she's wearing. The colour of your lips is very similar to what I imagined, and the emotion of the picture sings the same tune, and I just thought I'd make a note of it. I've loved this picture since I first saw it, and I'm a little late in the commenting game, but wow, this picture is just amazingly put together in all aspects of emotive portraits.
