Ah, yes. The "secondary elements". Light, Shadow, Iron, Magnetism, Gravity, Plantlife, Electricity, and Sonics. You know, the ones that have only had one Toa made as a set (Takanuva). Sure, Jovan was a Toa of Magnetism, but he was a combiner. And he used one of those stupid Inika masks.

I was never fond of those organic masks. They all looked stupid. They had good powers though.

Imagine if they made non-organic versions of those masks! If they made a normal gold or blue Calix we could make Toa Varian!

I didn't really get why they made a mask of flight when they allready had the Kanohi Miru, but you're right. Some good powers in those dumb things. I espically hated Hahli's and Jaller's. Hahli had a mustache, and Jaller looked like a moron.

Jaller couldn't have looked more stupid. But the reason for the Kadin is because the Miru can only hold one slightly above the ground. Lewa was able to fly because he can manipulate air currents and kept himself aloft with the Miru.

Ah, so that's why LEGO felt thay needed the Miru and the Kadin. OK. Makes sense, I guess. Could a Toa of Air fly by only manipulating air currents?

I don't think so. Their armor is probably too heavy and would just result in knocking them over. But it would be fun to watch.

Hm. I'll have to work some gimmick in my story, because the Toa of Air on Nath's team frequiently flies using strong air currents. If it helps, his armor is very thin. His mask doesn't help, it's a Volitak. Whatever Nuparu Mahri's mask was. I think it's how it's spelled.
You know, he's a real character in the Bionicle story. A Toa of Air, wears a Volitak...weilds a scythe...come on. You know who it is.

Ah, I know who you're talking about, a little risky though. If you made his armor light enough and his air powers strong enough you could get away with it.

Yeah, I wrote it in that the recombonation of his soul and has old body matter elevated his elemental abilites. Plus his armor is very light. Chest armor is just a Toa Inika chest, thigh armor is only Metru armor, and his upper arm armor is a Metru chest.

Yeah, it really does. THe Inika chest looks pretty crappy, but it was all I had on hand. I had a pretty bad armor shortage when I created his new form (he was originally designed like a Toa Metru.).
