Description THE LINK FOR BLANK MEME IS AT THE END OF THIS COMMENT. IF YOU'RE LAZY TO READ COMMENT, HERE'S THE DAMN LINK: [link]

Yes! Finish! This is my 6th meme so far and will be enough for this time - however it'll be more later (when I find the one that I like). I like this one! This is the most I enjoyed so far.

On the zombie panel, what that word in that arrow with red flag says: "Bang U R Dead!" Obviously you're ALREADY dead. You can't be dead twice. As grotesque as it can be, a zombie is damn easy to draw from scratch and yes this is my 2nd tme to have my character turns into zombie. I'm still a learner.

Let see...Since I liked it so much, I took the effort and actually added 2 extra which weren't in the original meme. I searched for which should be ok to draw. I thought I was gonna try a Banshee and Demon.

Some research to see that Banshee comes in different type and so does demon.
The Pokemon is a ref. of Mew Two, robot is from this: [link] (only), while the dinosaur is from this: [link] for inspiration.

The rest is my own imagination. And yes, all are being drawn with Potatoshop CS2 featuring Wacom Tablet.
Took me 5-6 days to do this (because I didn't have time).

A fun-fun meme which THOU should do it! Yes sire! Here is ze blank one: [link]

Like I said, this will be my last meme for now. I've to finish my procrastinated work! That's it.

So long, suckers!

It's a fun fun thing plus it's a good way for me to practice on drawing my fursona - after all this is my....ermm 4th time...it's NOT that much. Pretty much just started out to draw it not long ago. I liked the way it turned out...I'm not guaranteed that it would look good next time I'm doing this.

But you should try one .

Thanks for the fave

Me should try it, but I really have a hard time drawing character over and over again they tend not to look like the original character sometimes

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Thevakien In reply to Gorelus [2009-08-29 16:48:19 +0000 UTC]

You mean it's hard to draw a character that keeps the likeness there while changing into different angles or into a different monsters?

It's not hard - to be honest it's all about practice. I used to fear this. I even asked my friend once about how she drew her character in different poses without mishaping the features.
The only answer she gave me was: "Practice. You never know unless you try. Just keep drawing"

Having said that, I kept practicing and failing. I seeked out books and tutorials for aid. So, it used to be hard to do but now it's easy. Now, when it comes to your turn, you must draw. If you don't draw you won't get it.

What to look for is the features. What do you know about this character? How's his/her eyes?? Etc.

Everyone can draw this. Trust me. But it won't happen over 24 hours.
That's it.

Gorelus In reply to Thevakien [2009-08-29 16:58:14 +0000 UTC]

Thank you for the information, know I feel somewhat inspired. I am going to try and see if I can draw a character in continuous poses. I might fail, but me am going to try. Now I just have to get over my laziness on starting huge art projects Any tips for that?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Thevakien In reply to Gorelus [2009-08-29 17:21:26 +0000 UTC]

What kind of that huge art projects is this going to be? Practice stuff? Sorry I'm just curious. I'll give you to that but I don't know what you're going to do.

Practice on drawing character in continous poses? If yes, then you should draw from ref. because it's the only way to not limit yourself. Your work flown better when you draw with ref.

It's that you can't obviously make up a pose from imagination - not until you've known how everything works.

Mind you, I'm still practice myself. Therefore, draw from references, most teachers say start drawing from real life. Which is also true. You just keep drawing till your hand bleed.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Gorelus In reply to Thevakien [2009-08-30 16:47:55 +0000 UTC]

Well it's one of those art projects that has multiple elements like drawing a table, a kitchen counter, stove, microwave, cake, plus a bunch of characters doing a bunch of stuff. It just is way to time consuming and takes a long time to finish

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Thevakien In reply to Gorelus [2009-08-30 17:24:55 +0000 UTC]

Oh! That projects! I used to have one...but because I couldn't keep up with my own personal project, I just ignored it. Right now I've to write down all the ideas I get otherwise I would forget.

Art project takes ages to finish. That's why I get lack of motivated when seeing the list.

I'll try it. I have a question: do you use a wacom for your art?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Thevakien In reply to GeotrixQueen [2009-08-28 17:17:46 +0000 UTC]

Answer: No. I used mouse. Of course I use a tablet. Why?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GeotrixQueen In reply to Thevakien [2009-08-28 20:53:39 +0000 UTC]

I was curious because your Digital Art is smooth, like WAcom. All I have is paint, so I'm stuck scanning in hand drawn stuff.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Thevakien In reply to GeotrixQueen [2009-08-28 21:13:13 +0000 UTC]

....I work with Wacom tablet and Photoshop CS2. That's how I work mine. I don't think I have the smooth line when drawing because I don't have steady hand.

It takes months or years on the practice. I got this tablet in Sep 2007. So it's about...almost (or soon to be) 3 years now.

You just keep practicing. By the way, you have tablet??

GeotrixQueen In reply to Thevakien [2009-08-28 21:29:49 +0000 UTC]

No, I don't. I'd like to get one, but they cost like hundreds of dollars.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Thevakien In reply to GeotrixQueen [2009-08-28 21:31:40 +0000 UTC]

Yeah they cost about $360 or $400 something. Ooooh pricey. But you just save up to it if you really want it THAT bad!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GeotrixQueen In reply to Thevakien [2009-08-29 00:47:28 +0000 UTC]

I'll try, but me getting a wacom will take a while. I've got to finish high school first, then get my maajors straight in college. I'll try getting Photoshop and learn more on it, so as if I get Wacom, I'll be able to draw right into the program itself and not have to hassle with scanners and diluted pictures.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Thevakien In reply to GeotrixQueen [2009-08-29 11:35:20 +0000 UTC]

There's another tablet spawned from Wacom. I think it's Bamboo. This one is cheaper. I think it's about $99 or something. While Photoshop costs about $999 (or $1000) or $800 something depends which version you're after. How did I got mine? Well, first I got Photoshop 6 then moved on to 7 and CS2. I got complete version of CS2 from a good friend of mine when I used to live in a dorm at university. He was so kindly to spawn me a copy of Photoshop and Macromedia - but he didn't tell me that he got me a leech! There was a virus in Macromedia. So I can't have it.

Anyway I think you can download Photoshop but be aware of many virus out there. Somehow, I would suggest that you buy it.

You'll be doing art in college or something? If so you could just ask if the institute has Photoshop for sale (they usually do...though).

I'm not good with keeping the drawing clean that's why I prefer to work with digitally + it's very easy and not going over the hassle of coloring with pencils.

GeotrixQueen In reply to Thevakien [2009-08-29 18:47:00 +0000 UTC]

Well, I'm planning on going to a Geology based college. But I'll try and take classes on art if they have it.

A friend has offered to download CS3 onto my laptop, so I'm most likely getting that.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Thevakien In reply to GeotrixQueen [2009-08-29 19:02:27 +0000 UTC]

Ok, there's always an art class you can do - but you can always self-taught yourself.

I want to try Photoshop CS4...I mean I've downloaded it but I can't find its serial numbers But CS2, CS3 and CS4 is not much different - as people say.

I don't really know. At least you get Photoshop.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GeotrixQueen In reply to Thevakien [2009-08-29 19:45:09 +0000 UTC]
