You should also do one of Alien Soldier. It's another awesome game by the same creators, and even has cameos of bosses from it too!

Ah, the Girl Gunstar Red, made to be female in the North American release(and not specified in Japan for some reason of another). Personally I love how shoehorned the 'romance' in GSH was. It was only in Blue's Hard Mode ending and was two lines long.
