One Shadow Reaver less
My submission to 'monthly challenge' - Battle
So, yeah, I wanted to draw something shattering to many pieces. I can be strange like that
Good thing both the skull and the Sword of Gith give an opportunity Neverwinter Nights 2 (c) BioWare/Obsidian/Atari
Adele 'Del' Farlong (half-drow, duelist) is totally my fault
A4 paper, 3H, B, 2B, 3B, 5B pencils, 0,5 2B mech. pencil

Wow ... looks really great. Her arm holding the sword looks a little odd to me (like too straight) but I can live with that. I really love the shattering Shadow Reaver.

Oh, that's something I know, too. When I finished a picture or drawing and uploaded it to my gallery I don't feel like working at it afterwards. I'd correct typos in a writing but that's all.
I wouldn't want to be in that Shadow Reaver's place ...

Yeah, that's the thing with me too - once it's uploaded, I consider it done, for good or bad, but done
Eh, I know I wouldn't want to be a half-skeleton creature without a possibility to close my mouth fully, with my neck constantly being on fire, and not to mention the fact I'll surely be butchered by good guys at some point

I also wouldn't want to be at the wrong end of Adele. Not good for your health.

Anyways, i appreciate the compliments. It was a difficult piece, indeed, but it was exactly what I wanted to draw since we announced that 'battle theme'

When we decide about theme I had already started battle picture... now I have 2 with this theme but I really don't have mood to end them

Отлично нарисован череп. Даже есть дырочка под спинной мозг. Кажется я угадал смесь твоих техник, но писать их не буду - это секрет фирмы. Скорость движения тоже хорошо передана. Сейчас погаснет этот источник света и станет совсем темно. "Он почувствовал, как холодные, перепончатые пальцы нашли в темноте его шею... " При виде Пожирателя теней сразу вспомнились слова песни КиШей:
"В сини небесной
Средь белых барашков
Показался чудесный
И совсем не страшный
Летучий скелетик -
Ангел погибших.
Как самолетик,
Но только прогнивший..."

А нечего знать, что внутри находится. А то все больно умными стали, облысели все! Что будет, если люди узнают, что внутри у них мозг?! : ) Я слышал в Академиях искусств неплохо учат рисовать в разрезах. Ене Барчаи в помощь - у него все вдоль и поперек.
