Finally putting a bit of my design work up its not going to knock your socks off but this is the stuff i actually do for the uni not like all the freetime art i usually put up....XDA typography piece where we had to present the meaning, the rhythm and the melody of the song we chose.
Sorry for what appears to be bad quality......what i did was i printed the pieces on balsa/text paper and then burned parts and edges, then matted it on foamcore......its difficult to put into digital form but you can get a bit of an idea from this.

man that project did turn out extremely sweet, though one question. did you actually photograph it on the mirror or did you PS that in? but you know i love that project... i really wish now that I would've taken type 2 then just to do that project. heh maybe i'll have to do it on my own though this summer-

very nice work. the work on the left especially. the broad strokes of the O really catch the eye and hypnotize it. the front piece is awesome as well. great gritty compostion of the text.

yeah, the one on the bottom is great, however i love how it looks everything together... as it gives some feeling to the title of the song... Right Where It Belongs... i dunno i just like this for soooo many reasons it would be stupid too write them all.

Thanks a lot man........thats a really meaningful comment. I know it looks rough from the picture.......but this is one of those pieces that i truly felt like i had created a great piece of design. It has been the beginning of a string of University work that has really shined as of late and given me the confidence as a designer that i needed. I really worked hard with this one and that song has become one of my favs.
